A couple of weeks ago we woke up to a thick fog. So, before breakfast, we went out for a bike ride (which is why Lydia is in her PJs).
There were also massive wildfires in California, Oregon, and Washington. So…yeah. Hopefully fog.

After spending two weeks in isolation (in the Lafleur’s suite!) to meet COVID entry requirements into Canada, Grandma was finally able to visit this month. We are all very excited that she is here in BC. And Lydia was extremely excited when Grandma spent a few nights at our place last weekend.
Thank you Grandma for going through all of the red tape to come and visit us!

Lydia started Grade 1 this week… and so did Momma!!
Covid-19 led as down an unexpected path last spring resulting in Lydia being homeschooled. Jaynie did such a great job and it went so well that we are going to continue on with it. If God leads us in a different direction we will follow, but for now and for this season we feel called to continue homeschooling Lydia. Prayers are always appreciated, especially that God would be glorified in our home and that we would all seek to honour Him.
