Last Sunday we were very excited to receive news of Ella's baptism. Here is a link to the Lafleur blog with a video of Ella's testimony via baptism to the world of her faith in Christ. Awesome stuff.

Kelowna

Lots of photos here this week from the Kelowna portion of our vacation trip. I realize that we often have lots of photos on the blog, but even for us we have a lot of photos here this week.  Rather than post them one week at a time over the next few weeks we've put all of them into this post and split the photos up into galleries that can be clicked through.

The trip was awesome. It was one of the best trips we have been on (ever) and we hope to be able to visit with everybody again soon.

Vancouver

Our vacation began with a stay at the Lafleur's. We were all very excited to see Spencer, Ali, Ella, Juliette, Karis, Peter, and also to meet Silas for the first time. We were also excited to see their new home and stay with them for a couple of nights before heading to Kelowna (and meeting up again there). Their new home is beautiful and the girls greeted us with some freshly picked flowers placed in our wedding glasses and also with a massive dining room table set up to comfortably seat ten!! In our excitement we forgot to take a photo of the flowers.

Here are some from the beach, where Lydia coined the phrase "Yucky Duck!" Spencer ordered pizza and was somehow able to have it delivered to the beach, and then round one of many ice cream vacation trips took place. #awesome

Vacation

We spent the last few weeks in British Columbia vacationing with family. We have tons and tons of photos to go through and hope to get them sorted soon and then published to the blog over the next few Saturdays. Until then, here is one of our favorite frequent flyer enroute from ORD to YVR.
