Nama Visit

Nama came to visit us this week on her way to Vancouver. We did a lot of fun things including...

Pool Day

Lydia has been wearing an eye patch for several hours almost every day for nearly a year. The eye doctor has her doing this so that her weaker eye will strengthen while the stronger eye is patched. She has rarely complained about this and has never let it slow her down. Here she is on her scooter.

We had a pool day this week. Lydia had so much fun that we decided to buy a pass for the whole season. Here are some photos of the day at the pool.

Happy Father's Day

Today we celebrated our favorite guy. Lydia and daddy played duck, duck, goose this morning while I made eggs benedict. After church we surprised daddy with his favorite homemade pie - strawberry rhubarb. We took a nice stroll around the neighborhood later in the day. Matt, thank you for loving us and leading us so well. We love you!

Traverse City, MI

We recently gathered together in Traverse City, MI to spend time as a family in my childhood home state. Lydia loved running around with her cousins and all of the extra attention from her aunties, uncles, Poppa, and Mimi. We rented boats, played at the private beach, met baby Adamaris, had an epic water balloon fight, walked through downtown, took a day trip to Mackinaw Island, and had many meals together. Adam was sorely missed.
