Vancouver (Winter 2019 Part 1)

We had an awesome time in Vancouver visiting the Lafleur’s over Christmas. Lots of pictures. Here is part one of the trip, which includes photos from traveling to Vancouver, Christmas Day dinner, playing outside, the Christmas Light walk, donuts and coffee and donuts and tea and donuts at the 49th Parallel, and time exploring a foggy forest. More to come (hopefully next week)!

No Stress

We have been playing some new games over the past few days (thank you Aunt Jodie!). The games: Uno, Connect Four, and Lydia’s current favorite - No Stress Chess! Here are some photos.

Reading

Lydia brought home her first reading book - a Bob book - from school last week.

We were all very excited. The first words she read to us from her first book: Mat sat.

Mat (sic) sat.

used in brackets after a copied or quoted word that appears odd or erroneous to show that the word is quoted exactly as it stands in the original.

Joking aside, it was super fun to hear her read. She did a great job. Here are some photos of her joyfully reading her first Bob book.
